08 xp reed issue

I got a 2008 summit 800 the stock reeds chipped so I put in a set of v forces now sled seems to be starving for air any one else seen this... I usually ride clicker one and with new reeds on clicker four I struggle for 7800rpm plugs look a little rich but not to bad... if I remove lower air box completely I can pull 8000 rpm ..do I jet down?? Sled is stock except can and v forces
