08 XP Driveshaft

Buddy has an 08. Driveshaft failed. Dealer told him it is not covered as not all summits were included in recall. Is this true. I found the recall info on BRP site and it looks like all summits to me.

If it never got the updated shaft it's still covered and yes they ALL got the shaft even my renagade 600 got it .Saftey recall

Thanks, I should have added he has already changed it. Just looking for info cause I think BRP should cover it
