I have an 07 with the 162' put on the SLP pipe, Vforce reeds, advanced the timing 3 degrees Dobeck tuner SLP billet aluminum air horn and RK Tek clutch kit. they clain 197 Hp. still a few bugs to work out with the mods. Be replacin' the Dobeck with a Boondocker. Some no cost rear suspention mods for better transfer.
stock was trouble free. still is but has some growin' pains with the mods. .
get on one and you will never regret it
all i can say about the belt issue some guys have been having is that maybe try the side vents to eliminate the heat that cant get out on the clutch side i know the first thing i did to mine was the side vents before i ever rode it and i am still running my original belt with 250 hard miles on it then again mybe im just luckyi did own an 08 m1000 162 snopro biggest piece oh shi$$ i ever owned blew belts all the time was in the shop more then i drove it and my buddy has an 09 m1000 le 500km 6 belts its been in the shop 3 times allready seams like they changes alot for 09 not:d

yeah like the m7 nice and light to throw around always like the 700 class or maybe i got the lemon 08 snowpro m1000 it spent more time in lac la biche sporting goods getting fixed then riding it so thats why iam so foul about the m1000 it had 600km on it and i blew the belt 5 times but the clutches were aligned broke the helix in half the belt went through the belly pan and had lots of engine trouble but on a good note i sold it for $5000 just so i didnt half to look at it in the shop anymore i rented an m8 in the mountain and that sled rocks i would go with an m8 anyday
