I was wondering to all users out there, what upgrades canI make to my sled to make it lighter, nicer ride, or more power.
I have an altitude compensator and sno-stuff rumble pack can. Are there any other affordable upgrades to make to it?

Yup, would be a 600HO if he said altitude compensator as it was the only carb sled in the RMk lineup in 07.

Biggest thing I noticed on that sled was to drop the jetting on it to clean it up, being in SD your altitude is around 2-3k, so running 62g, 420 mains and drop the piots down from stock which was 50 or 55 to 40.

If you can find a used SLP pipe they worked great on these sleds and can be found for fairly cheap. Also gear it down a bit I think I ran 19/43 on mine. Vent it good too, 2 cool air vents I had on mine and the belts last a LONG time. Got 2600 minles on that sled all on original belt.

As far as handling see if you can find some takeoff spindles from a 08 or newer IQ chassis as it will help with turning. It prob. has the ryde fx shocks which are pretty cheap. You can find assault shocks from take-offs for reasonable prices and work great.

Otherwise, seal up the headlight, get a cover for the headlight adjuster or cover it with electrical tape, and run it. Was a very fun sled the one I had, shoulda kept it as a backup.
