05 brute 750 sputtering? whats wrong

i went out for a ride today went in some mud abut then all of a sudden it just started to sputter like from a dead stop for like 3 or 4 seconds it sputter and dosent wanna givver but then after i get up to like 10 km its normal whats wrong

may need a good shot of carb cleaner or possibly rejetting. Could be a few things maybe fuel filter?

could be steam being sucked in from the mud on your hot rad(Brutes are well known for this). Does it do it all the time or just after you hit the mud and now is it gone?

I agree. The steam of the exhaust always chokes them out or the coils could be getting wet also. But more than likely it's the steam.

nope not the steam its all the time nowim gonna try to shoot some caarb cleaner in it

such a simple fix but it has always done the trick for me when my machine is screwy when it comes to that
