02 grizzly reverse override delete

i have an 02 grizz 660. as most know, they did not come with a reverse over ride button, so i'm always hitting the governor when in reverse, pizzes me off too!!!! anyways, i know there is a way to bypass this, as i know several peeps that have it done. so my question is, does anybody on here know how to do it? i know the general wires i need to look at, just not sure which ones i need to cut/bypass whatever. any help would be appreciated

That is how i wired mine in. Instead of having two separate switches, its all in one switch. This allowed for either Yamaha safe position, reverse override position, or diff lock speed limiter override.


Originally i was not going to do the diff lock override, but after riding in the winter diff lock at speed over 30km was needed.


Compare this to grizz hoppers write up, and you should be able to figure out whats going on.
