I wanted to throw up a post for information purposes in case it helps someone. I have Oakley Inferno goggles but they don't heat as well as they used too and need replacing. I absolutely love the Prizm lenses but there is no longer a heated option from Oakley with the Inferno's being discontinued. The Inferno goggles were designed for a skier/boarder and not sledders. They never effectively sealed against my face since the frames didn't have outriggers and they don't have a nose piece. I love the Prizm lens for flat light and would have a real tough time using anything else.
I also needed to buy new goggles for the dirt bike so I purchased the Oakley "Front Line MX" goggles with the outriggers for a helmet, tear aways posts and the protective nose piece. I really wanted to use them for the winter but they only have a single lens with minimal fog protection. I Googled and notice the Oakley "Fall Line" winter lenses for skiers/boarders was VERY similar. I emailed Oakley to ask if they would work in my MX goggles and they said no. I didn't like that answer so I called them, again they said no. I still didn't like that answer so I took my MX goggles to the Oakley store in Chinook Mall Calgary (the people there are fantastic!!!). They confirmed and placed the winter lens in my frame.
Feedback of the "Front Line MX" goggle with the "Fall Line" Prizm Lens... Absolutely zero fogging because the frame outriggers allow the goggles to sit tightly against my face. Love having a nose piece on the trail up too, I forgot how effective they are. Definitely recommend if your Inferno's are crapping out but you don't want to go to another brand for a heated pair with crappy lenses. Bonus is I now have two pair of goggles that work in both summer and winter, all I have to do is swap lenses for the different seasons.
