Put them on the rear . If you put them on the front when you brake on ice the truck will become unstable and swing around on you. Go to the government of Canada website about winter tires if you want to see a video of this exact scenario.
oh thats what i did wrong! Thanks for informing me. News to all who snow cross, buy a summit it's just as strong as a rs chassis and the boards won't bend after multiple hard hits, oler1234 said so.
Anyone have some experience fixing the broken fittiing on the fuel pump when stranded on the hill! Got a xm sitting in chappell and need some ideas beside a heli to get it out. It ust spews fuel when you try to start it and it won't fire at all.
ya, just tried again and i get a message after i try the upload saying the upload has failed with a snow and mud icon in it. I'm picking a picture i took of the sled a few days ago saved to my files in the computor.
I'm sure he's not stereotyping, but if theres a dick sledder who always leaves garbage on the hill, he's still a sledder. The post asks why do HUNTERS do this. An idiot with a gun is not a hunter. The post should ask, " why do people have no respect for others and their hard work".
You could seek third party advice for the tranny issue. Clutch & Grab transmission who is a site sponsor does all our work and they know there stuff. Dj over there has saved the day for us many a time.
Very different sleds, steering post, running boards, tunnel reinforcements, wider stance, not just better shocks. try to ride both with your buddies, then decide. You might change your mind completely after you ride them. There both in season sleds now anyway so you can get either any time.
I would ask the to replace all the studs, the cost of the studs and their time is minimal compared to a lost wheel that hits another car on the highway going the other way. Never mind the lawsuit to follow.
I think most guys run Brp synthetic, but i think until anyone has a 3 or more years on their e-tec you wont see many guys experimenting with other oils out of fear. Don't want to loose their warranty for very little gains. How much would you save buying any other synthetics anyway?
Over-tourque for sure, we see quite a few chevys with broken studs. Very weak studs on the 2500-3500 prior to 2012. Keep in mind even a cheap impact gun will put out 350 ft/pds, any techs will install the nuts with his gun and then torque it after but if he's not careful he already way, way...
So after one season on my Freeride (1200 km) my running boards are still straight! Unlike my old Summit xp. Problem is snow build up, Has anyone installed inserts on the Freeride? Don't really want to drop the big bucks for the skins.
