Just looked at the D&D on line and it looks like 2 K&N air filters mounted to an aluminum bracket! Do they give you a different rubber boot to put inside going to the throttlebodys? or just use the stock rubber boot? Used to use K&N on mod sleds years ago and worked well!
I have the BD extreme air intake system and it still boggs/loads up at around 5000 rpm IF the temp in the pipe is 500 to 700 degrees and you hit the throttle it will load up than clean up and go!! Sure it will work better with new boondocker #S:beer:
Need to read bogging issues!! There are several issues like fuel pressure pluged cans and you will most guy I think are getting a doondocker box to get rid of most of it!!! Just look through the site for bogging issues and there is a ton of good information on how to get rid of most of it!

Check the can!! I have had 2 jaws cans that screwed up!!! 1 had the packing blow half way out causing all sorts of back pressure and the other did blow the packing out as well but the weld was broken in side where the pipe and can meet!! That dident work well either. Bought a tunnel dump style...

Did you change gearing to M8? Dont get me wrong I am not saying your dosent do 65 but if it does I need your set up!!!
