I'd still like to phone Jaws Performance to get his opinion. But yeah its looking like the 600 exhaust that got put on my sled should be alright to run with. Thanks PP :)
I just got a hold of Ralph from Split Second Performance, and he said it should be fine running the 600 mxz pipe cause it does have the same i.d measurement into the muffler as the 700 one.
Hi pp, the exhaust would actually be for the sled my son saved up to buy (he's 12) turns out the engine has real low compression one one cylinder so it's going to have to be overhauled over the summer. The fellow we got the sled from said after changing to the 600 exhaust that it ran leaner now...
They are both fairly close in color, one a nice tan color and the other a little darker. Skidoo doesn't seem very snappy off the start...When you're driving along seems better just no bottom end power like I think it should have.
I picked up a 2000 Summit Highmark 700cc Skidoo last night and the guy told me he had put on a different exhaust and all he could find was one of a 600cc Skidoo and that it ran leaner now cause of that. Should I be concerned with the 600 exhaust on a 700 sled in any other way then it running...

My skidoo has the wire for the tail light running down the top side of the tunnel. I'd guess that means I would have to have those rails to hide the wire in to prevent jerry can sitting on top of it and squishing and wrecking it? Does the jerry can just sit between the rails then, with the rails...
