I find less wobble at 80 than at 50 or 60. It was raining though so that helps keep tires cool and was just a little 2320 flexicoil cart so I wouldn't have felt it even if it did wobble. I would go way slower with these big 1000bu carts though.
I have huge respect for cattle haulers cause that's a tough job but agree that they are some of the most dangerous drivers out there. Always on their phones, always speeding, shotgunning energy drinks with both hands off the wheel and eyes off the road, driving 30 hours without sleeping. I have...
Hate that so much. Have a notice stuck to my door that package will be delivered to Staples in city 15 min away then I have to wait 2 days for them to take it there and Staples hours suck so had to kill time until they open at 10am. Pretty sure the box of bearings would have been just fine...
You'll be good to go 80km/h. I tow everything 80 even air drills. Only thing I won't tow that fast is grain bagger, if you even hit 60 with that you better learn some fancy driving or you'll be parked in the ditch, negative hitch weight is scary.
I always bring a grease gun along and stop a few...
I could never be a marketing guy. Imagine having to try and convince someone to keep using your services after you lost them a ton of money haha. Same with investment advisors. Like yeah I know I lost you a 1/4 million dollars last year but can you please pay me for advice still 🤣.
I screwed...
I've started giving up on keeping stuff nice. My gmc has rust starting everywhere from bad metal. Can't really stop it when it starts bubbling huge areas under the paint. Once it looks bad enough it becomes a farm truck.
Also if you don't get fierce sprayed in fall you'll have to use Valtera in spring as fierce is fall application only for lentils. Works okay but not nearly as good as fierce.
Spray fierce in fall just prior to freeze up and your fields will be clean. Edge is a waste of money, never works. Pick clean fields to grow them on. Seed early, if they are not in the ground by second week of May don't bother, preferable seeded late april. Be careful of solo carryover...
I have gps in tractor but the autosteer doesn't work with the loose steering in that tractor. I might need to get system with auto turn too so I don't have to replace so many fence posts
I'm in the wrong business. They work half the hours and make twice the money I do just to haul the grain I grew. Sucks that a group of lazy complainers can hold the whole country hostage.
Year 5 for us and I think this is worst year yet. Expecting most of the yields to be in the 5-10 range other than the chickpeas and durum might be in the 20's. Sure glad I upped my crop insurance to 80% this year.
Anyone else use milwaukee headlamp? Bought one for seeding time and loved it. I like to work lots at night and makes everything easier. Bright enough I could service equipment at night before I go home then just hop in and go in the morning.
