Probably sticking and giving a code for not being at commanded position. Pull the cover off and make sure they float real smooth and freely. If you can get the exact code you will atleast be able to know which position they are hanging up in and will help narrow down what to look for

i upgraded to a Inreach mini from a Spot. Went inreach as the monthly plans are cheaper, and can still send texts with it if your phone is dead or didnt bring one

if your fuel pump hasnt had the retaining upgrade done it could be leaking out there requiring the several pulls to get the line bled and pressured up again
