Heat shrink up to the connections and then Some goop at the base where the connection meets the base. There were also 2 small holes in my usb where water could get in. I put mine in a location where it will probably see water often but convienent for me.

I didn't do this today but added the highlifter max forward clearance a-arms. And some demon axles from china of course but seem to work. I tried to see how the cheap stock replacement axles work...they didn't. Big learner curve for me. My first side by side.

Added a dual usb port. Sealed it with goop. 3.65$.

Does your meter have the diode symbol next to the ohms setting on your meter?. Have to put a voltage through the diode positive to negagtive.
