you can change that piece out without pulling the motor. I just modified a 13mil wrench and then a heat gun for the glue. Bought a crashed switchback. pain in the ass but better than pulling the motor.
I also have this problem on my 12 assault. only when its cold. outside temps -20 C or colder, sled sounds like idle is fine, reverse, throttle response are all spot on. Once the sled warms to like 60 degrees the gauge will light up. started doing it last year and only had a can on it then. note...
