Good Year Endurance tires have been working really well for me. Had Carlises on my last trailer and they were decent as well. The Endurance seem to be wearing better though. I typically go 1 ply rating above what the axles need. EG game with 6 go to 8's, if it came with 8s go to 10s, etc
Standyne is sold at every GM dealer as far as i'm aware. Ever since the amount of sulfur dropped in diesel its my go to. Just don't spill the stuff.... You will never get the smell out of the interior. For this reason, I buy the small bottles good for 114L each. Never again.
Sounds like its ticking lots of the boxes thats for sure! Keep us updated. With a bit more range/refinement this has some serious potential.
All we really need is the government to release new legislation of Electric OHV's being exempt during fire bans and id be all over them. Every year it...
Also just reading through a few of these messages, just figured id shine some light on the quality of fuels/supply at stations. Across the board there is no "Standard" supplier for one brand. Honestly, they are all a mismatch of who is offering what price, availability etc. Typically for one...
Honda gets the vote. It has a slightly larger engine (199cc vs 171cc) and seem to ride through the peaky loads better than the Yamaha. I would love to do a teardown and check the capacitors in them to see if there is any real difference, but just my 0.02 from having them both camping.
We have...
Agree with lookin at Everlast as an option as well. Been extremely happy with my TIG from them I bought a few years ago. Wouldnt hesitate to buy another welder from them. Been team blue for a long time, but for hobbyist welder they are very hard to beat. Have been able to find many consumables...
Just a heads up, the moment you modify that roll cage in any way you are now required to wear a helmet at all times when operating. This even comes if you are reinforcing them. Cop asked me on my unit to show him the rollcage sticker last year (as I was dragging a few logs around camp, not even...
I sold mine a bit ago, but it was around an 11amp draw when lighting the glow plugs, and only around 2-3a with the fan running. I bet it's actually more efficient and easier on the unit to just run constantly vs cycling regardless.
Lol its amazing to hear people talk good about them. I walked in their old location years ago on a thursday afternoon off 32nd and it was clear everyone there was drunk as ch!t. Hopefully they have turned it around.
Gut feel says really check fuel filters. Mine dmax did similar things and had a broken piece inside one of the fuel filters gave me intermittent problems like that replaced them and never had another issue.
Disappointed not to see AWD models, hell is that nice on the old husky when going tight to fence posts in the ditch. Silly thing will still do AWD burnouts and havent replaced the drive belt yet.
Like others have said i've always found its not a nice feeling towing a 4 place. 2 or 3 are for sure doable, but our older trails west 4 place ragdolled pretty much every half-ton we have ever tried it with. Out of all of them the GM with a 6.2, or the Titan was the best feeling towing, but it...
Been a Max fan since he drove for alpha. Was choked to see them mess it up that bad.... Hopefully they can get back on pace and start making these points up again. But weirdly would rather a ferrari win it vs another hamilton slog.
Normally I deal with HES PV out of Calgary. You should be able to do much better than 70C a watt... Thats pretty steep honestly. It's been a little bit since i've bought panels and I understand they are a bit in shortage but you should be able to get into the 50s for sure.
When we were buying...
It will really depend on your use. If you are just running the fridge, you could probably get away with like 150W, but if you are going through the hassle of doing it you might as well get some real panels. My suggestion to everyone doing solar, is go overboard on the panels that way you don't...
Lithium has come down a ton in the last few months. You can get 200ah of lithium with internal heaters for like $1000.00. Which honestly is pretty impressive.
At the end of the day, trying to run fridges off batteries is just a plain bad idea. It can be done yes, but it takes an incredible...
Haha that just means around 4. Amps hours/2... then divide by 4 again. = amount of hours without damaging a lead acid battery. Assuming in new condition.
Need more information to give you an idea. How many Amp Hours on the battery? Basically take amp hours/2 = useable amp hours... then useable amps/~4. will give you the amount of hours. These units take big current (10-11 amps) when starting and stopping (lighting the glow plug) but only about...
I recommend looking into Bivystick as well, when I was doing my research it was honestly the best way to go. Uses the Iridium network (which for sledders is a must if you get stuck in a creek) and the messages actually roll over so you dont end up paying for stuff that you never use.
