My Brother-in-law that owns some of the land the rally goes through said snow mostly gone in fields and up to a foot in the bush. So sounds about the same as last year. :)

How did you make out CS989? As soon as you turn North off of hwy 663 to go into chump lake start looking for any open ground to camp. There is a few off the paved stretch and even more once you hit gravel. Make sure to get someone out there thursday or you will probably be out of luck.

Chump Lake Campsite, about 22km East of Boyle on HWY 663. It is a first come first serve campsite. If Campsite is full you can camp for free anywhere you can find a spot once you turn North off of HWY 663. Lots of good quading for all levels.

Hats off to Hylo for hosting a well organized great event. Awesome signage and trail was groomed, could not ask for more.
