I have this trail on GPS and only live an hour away so I've been on it already. The rally course I have in my GPS comes out to 57 km. This is, of course, based on whether or not I drove it correctly and it's still the same. We rode it two years ago and it was right after the rally so we just...
Thank you Gentlemen. Both look really good and so I will buy both. Ippielb, thanks for adding the video. That's what I'm looking for is that exact shot. Thanks again!
I have been riding around the Edson/Cadomin area for 6 years now and finally have gotten off my wallet and bought a gopro. I'm curious as to where people have been mounting them to get the best footage. The google machine has been telling me that most people have had the best luck mounting them...
That trail system can get really muddy depending on the rainfall we get. There are some skeg crossings that are always fun. Either way, it's a fun ride and from what I have heard, a really well done rally.
Not a big rally person myself but I do ride these trails fairly often
That train trestle ride sounds awesome. I'm looking at some maps and I see a ride heading south then west out of the beaver dam campground which heads towards nordegg. It's called the old rail loop and I think that may be what you are talking about. Will check that out today as well.

So I didn't think I would get any riding in as we are here for a wedding but I brought my machine just in case. Well neither my wife nor my friends's are feeling to well so we are looking to get some riding done in the morning. Any thoughts on where to go? We do have the trailnet and local maps...
The weather does look a little less then optimal. But as an old friend of mine used to say you don't get to pick the weather, you only get to pick whether or not you go. And besides, the worse the weather the less people on the trails!!
Thanks guys. I don't think I will head down there. Maybe a little random camping by Robb or Tom hill is in order. I thought it was a little early for that area but you never know unless you ask!!
Planning a trip for this weekend coming up. It's probably too early but I was hoping to get into ruby or ride the southesk. Has anybody been down there lately? I'm guessing the cardinal river headwaters still had snow on it but if anybody has been back there I would appreciate any info on that...
Does anyone know some good trails/trailheads around Robb? I know the snowmobile trails but I have heard a bunch of people talk about more trails that are around the town as well.
Thanks!!
Can't figure out how to delete this but I think I posted in the snowmobile section. Sorry..
I live down here in Edson and have been seeing this site come up when I search riding areas or maps so I thought it might be time to join. I have kml/gpx for South Esk from Grave Flats, Some Tom Hill Tower stuff, Cardinal River Headwaters and some other local stuff (bear lake, north road, etc)...
