No backfiring just a mid range pulse. The power was good but if I was doing climb , and not honking on it,, it would pulse. Just felt funny. I’m heading back out next week and will be able to see if they fixed it.
I had an injector fail and the ECM fried as a result. Took it in because the sled wouldn’t run worth a sh$t! They replaced the injector, ECM, and plugs under warranty. Took it to the mountains and it would run but as I’m climbing it would pulse, almost like a surge then a pull back. Took it back...
Not too much on the summit front other then a 34 inch front end. They are bringing Lynx to North American. I don’t know anything about the Lynx brand but they look a little different from the doo’s.

Picked it up today. Running again! I was told the ECM got fried somehow which buggered the injector. To top it off I got 2 new spark plugs. When I enquired about it they said the plugs were completely facing the wrong way from factory. They said it was the 2nd sled this week that they saw this! Lol
Not sure. It wouldn’t start then I held the throttle wide open and it would run but not very good. Saw the check engine symbol and took it in because it was on warranty. Dealership said 20’s and 21’s are having lots of issues with injectors.
We I’m still not finished break in and Doo is putting a new ECM in. Sled wouldn’t start in the cold and I finally got it running (like s$&t) but it would continue to run. Took it in for warranty work and they are ordering a new ECM. Anyone else have this issue?
Went to Renshaw all three days. Found great snow and visibility over the saddle on Sunday. Snow and poor visibility on Monday and today. Still found good snow but hard to see. It was a little dicey getting back over the saddle. Great trip over all. Had to pull out my buddies Alpha as the rear...
I’m pretty familiar with both. Been back to larva in Lucille, but probably the group we are with, butterfly would be the farthest we would want to go. Renshaw I’ve went back to spirit lake but have never took the short cut into the ant hills. Any info would help. Thx
Finally got to it yesterday. Checked ground in footwell, bypassed the solenoid, charged the battery and boosted it. Broke down and changed the battery out and bang it worked like a dream. Thanks for all the info. Just wanted to rule everything out before I bought a battery. ��
2015 Summit 800 E-start. Battery charged and charger says it’s good. Solenoid clicks. Thinking it’s the solenoid. All connections are good. What do you guys think? Ever have a solenoid act like this?
Thinking of swapping out my factory headlight with an LED one. Looking for something Plug n’ Play. What’s your experience and is it worth it? 2020 Gen 4 Summit.
