Was there last week and rode Eagles 2 days. Very nice and lots of powder. Trail was thin to 7km and ruff as hell where it narrows but worth every bump on it.
Most of what you are asking is all available through PL. Fuel lines, vent kits, snorkel, etc. Just give the boys a call. As for the O2 sensors, I think its the Av Gas that takes them out not 111 or 112. Not much need to run a whole bunch of race fuel blend IMO but some will make for a little...
Springs are pretty soft on '08&'09 Nytro. One of each in my group and both were upgraded to the #1500 spring and bottoming out was gone. '08 got an Ohlins rear shock and '09 stayed stock. There are several optiond for sus[ension springs on these sleds and the stock one is #1100 i believe. They...
Do you know or can you find out who did the install? If not at PL then possibly get PL to check it over. Venting is huge. You need to get rid of the extra heat under the hood. Ask Dave/Darren at PL. Get the open OEM venting slots covered with pre-filter material to keep the snow out. Fuel line...
Powder Pete's was recommended to me for guiding and I see he has a complete set up: gear and sleds. Don't cheap out on the first trip. Hire a guide and you'll see its the best money you'll spend on the trip.
Re: Today's Ride Sicamous, Deep Pow!
How bout a trade anyone:2500acre farm in SK. for a shack of some sort in Sicamous???? May even throw in a bunch of green equipment to seal the deal.
This must be some of the best early season snow there in a while. Dec.6th is just too far away.

Rec Supply is where the shocks came from and I asked if there was a pump in the kit with the shocks and they said no. Never offered any options. Wonder if the pump for the fox shocks on the Timbersled would be the same?
Need some feed back on front shocks for my '08 Tnytro. Getting RydeFx 2.0 and wondering where to start for settings/airpressure. 156x2.5x15CE track on Timbersled skid. Ride mt's and flats. Not much trail if I can help it. TS skid is new to me also so maybe there's some help to offer there too...
Of the multitudes of taxes on fuel these days I think one of them is suppose to be allocated to roads. And like all off road use fuel, the appropriate tax is not chareged on av gas either. I can see that as a reason for not selling to anything other than an aircraft at an airport. That being...
Ok, based on this bit of info I would suggest you wait for the XTX to be with in your grasp. Thought you were more of a novist but your not. Two of my flatland riding buds had new XTX last year. great sled for all you have describ ed except for powder/deep snow. Thats where the track would need...
There are a few upgrades to the '07 Phazer that you should be aware of or at least make sure they have been done if you find one. Filler plate at rear end and spindles for starters, and if starter is acting up there is a better one now too. If it doesn't want to go into reverse there's a shim...
Rode my '08 MTX first year stock. Was not in the same league as any 2stroke 800 in the mountains. With the Maverick it was very disappointing to say the least. I'm not sure there is much you can do short of boosting it that would allow you to stay with 800 RMK. Mind you, you will very likely...
Dave at Powder Lites sells them and uses Tuning Bike to set them up for your sled. They suggest 15hp on an Apex but were skeptical about what a Nytro would gain. Unless there is an O2 sensor in there already the Nytro only gets it with boost.
Not sure what the Dragon is running at 12psi but PL...
It's hard to believe that people would leave their junk on the mountain when they are out playing around there, but they do. It's dissappointing to say the least.
