The sks has the chain case as well as the assault.
It really comes down to.....
do you want the better track and cooling on the sks
or the better needle shocks on the assault.
I chose the sks and revalved the piggybacks.
Coming off a proAssault I am happy with my decision.
Buy what ever sled YOU want.
i know the brand I currently prefer. They don't pay me to bring in new customers, I not gonna sit here and tell you they are the best and everything else is garbage.
Since you are laid up, get to reading and make a fair judgment choice on what one fits you best.
I to wanted a solid answer to this. I didn't get that. Got conflicting reports. Some guys say it's no good, and the slp muffler creates all the baffle the pipe needs. The. Again I here from a handful of guys say ther sled rips just as hard with another aftermarket muffler as there buddies...
It is more of a P.I.T.A. Than before. You must totally unbolt the lower steering post to get them out. Also be prepared as the blades are spring loaded with 2 springs for each cylinder. So watch that as you slide the them out.
other than that, it's not to bad.
the Silber from the early days are nothing like the new kits. Seen it first hand. They rip for the price tag.
Thats the turbo kit I'd jump on if I had the $$$$!
VE tunnels have perimeter cooling system, so airframes will not work to easily. Possible, but way to much work I believe.
Have you seen there powder boards?
might be a good option.
