My headshim did blow and filled the motor with antifreeze would you think i bent the head or case in order for the shim to fail?? Where are you running your 270 at for elevation ?? I am always over 4000 ft I would say. I take it your running 17lbs boost with premium fuel also??

What would cause the headshim to fail?? Talked to a few people and they said at 17lbs you need to run 1/2 prem and half c12? Is this just under a certain elevation? Also Im going to turn the boost down to 14lbs. Is anyone else having headshim issues with the 270...

Go see Hervey at Fountain Tire they do lots of lifted trucks I use them for all of my fleet and they look after you well. Go to the one out by the overpass towards clairmont. I have a 8" BDS in my F350 and they were able to make it spot on.

Good to hear! I agree the spots are better then nothing but an iridium sat phone is the best 2 way communication. I have a globalstar currently and its spotty out there.

I believe it happened near the Stairway to Heaven by Mt Alexander. I was out there and we heard a chopper fly over us in that area around 3:30pm. I guess it was not the rescue chopper as when we were back at our camp we heard one fly over around 11 ish Im guessing that was the military chopper...

Just picked up a 2009 Nytro with an MCXpress 270 kit from OJ's Leisure in wainwright. It was a dealer built demo with 950 kms cant wait to try it out this weekend in the hills!!!
