Me and my wife hiked up to the Frisby cabin on Sunday still a lot of snow but wasn't too bad for hiking . We saw a post on the wall inside and we have both been wondering about it as we were out there at about the same time , anyone know anything about it?
Size has no bearing...it could be a 1/4" strap if its rated correctly (and high enough of course).
You guys need to learn the laws before you head out so at least you have some ammunition when or if you do get pulled over...

I think you may be right.
I pulled into the scales a couple of weekends ago and asked the enforcement guy there what was legal.
He said each sled needs to be tied down at 4 points(just like any other load) the superclamp on the front counts as two points,and then I had two straps at the back...
