Just go to Mopack and jet a boost dial, there like $60 and tie in to you waist gate very easily. They look cool and work great. I had mine set 10-20psi on my Apex. Cheap,easy and no b.s. electronics.

I would think the old owner should know when to start mixxing fuel, with my mcx i ran 12psi with a head shim for a year and never had a issue, anything over then i mix. You want to invest in a boost dial so you can dial your boost up and down. 10psi sure isnt 265,more like 12psi or even 14. Mcx...
Make sure you have like 0-40 synthetic oil. If the oil is too thick itll slow down the engine when trying to turn over. And also run the risk of wrecking something internal. Plus why would you want to start it when colder than-15?
