You might be thinking of the posi torq or posi grip style. They have like a smaller Phillips within a Phillips style head. The JIS and normal Phillips are pretty much identical, other than the angle of the blades are different
Not using the proper JIS driver is half the reason why most screws are stripped out. The other is that most people don’t use the right size. Most commonly a # 2 driver on a # 3 screw. The easy way to identify JIS is there is a dot stamped into the head of the screw between the slots.
Well, it’s not an ATV in the normal sense, but I brought this in the house to warm up, so I could put the finishing touches on its restoration, or should I say it’s more of a refurbished project
Zillas, as great as they are for an all around general purpose trail tire, won’t last long in the rocks. To soft and will wear fast and or rip, cut, get torn. Blackwaters I don’t know much about other than their 30 year old predecessor. They were hard, tough as nails last forever type a tire that...
I’ve always had good luck with Cooperators. Never had a machine denied by them yet. Although I’m not super impressed with the sport bike policy. Just because they classify the CBR600 as restricted and charge me double for it. I’ve insured anything from new to almost 40 years old for off-road...
If you bought it prior to Covid 2 years ago, add $1000 to whatever you got it for. If it was bought after Covid and cerb cheques, list it for the same.
Merry Christmas to all my fellow S&Mer’s. From the few that I do know to the many that I don’t. From my house to yours. Whether it’s with loved ones around the tree, the side of a mountain, or sun n sand getaway destination. Wishing every one all the best!
Not a huge beer fan. Kokanee was my go to, until they started brewing it in Edmonton and you can taste the NSR in it. [emoji2961]. I do like MGD still and bottles naturally. American Vintage Teas or Captain Spice is where it’s at usually.
Bunch of the Yamaha’s, well all of them actually.
And some of the Honda’s. Couple of them left me for a new home and I’ve added a few different ones since this pic.
10 years ago, you should’ve been able to pick that up for a flat of beer and a hand shake. Has good potential. Prolly give you a hand at getting it going if you don’t procrastinate to long on it. One thing you should really look into, is finding either an 83 200 front or an 84/85 200m front...
I think he has about 80 acres. All trails and mud holes. More designed for trucks, but can be alright with a SxS or quad. Can camp there as well and they have a track set up for the RC guys. I watched that a bit one time. Pretty cool. And you be surprised how many people show up with brand new...
