Same as on my Grizzly, got dirty water in the system because the cap on my resivour kept letting dirty water in. Did this twice, and the 3rd time i replaced the propeller shaft as well, guess my shaft was bent just a little and prematurely wears out the seals as well. Dont know how similar...
The main reason the Grizzlys are one of the if not the worst for over heating isnt the cooling system itself, but just the surroundings and location of the rad itself. It is high up, 1/2 under plastic, piddily small grill on the front, the power steering right behind the rad which collects...
I never run my fan when it is off, all this does is drain your battery and cool the coolant in your rad cause it isnt circulating. Unless your starting it every so often to circulate the coolant.
If you shut the quad off, the coolant right at the sensor will get hotter from the engine and not being circulated giving it a false reading. If your checking the temp through the pod, i would try doing it with the quad running, if it cant be done, i would install a water temp gauge to see what...
If you havent hit mud or anything yet, and if you work it hard it would over heat? Sounds like either the thermostat is stuck closed and not opening all the way, or maybe the temp sensor is pooched
Yeah you said it Bubs. I am going on a hunt now to see if i can buy an amp from another speaker that is actually being sold right now. Get rid of this n-300 amp crap on the back of my speakers. Least i can get parts if they blow up. Try to get some pioneer amps cause i have never had...
I have 2007 grizzly 700 and i am running 29.5 outlaws and everything is stock. It pushes them fine, just in the sticky stuff i have a little issuses but clearance is not a problem. I am thinking of a clutch kit but not in a rush to bad.
yeah, i had the 27" mudlights on mine, they are a really good tire, i just wanted to try these outlaws, they will get the test on sunday at the medicine lake rally
You can also try checking grizzlycentral.com or nyroc.com for tips. These 2 sites have lots of info on pretty much everything. These 2 sites i have learned a great deal about our quads
There is 2 things you can check, one, the reverse sensor on top of the engine. It is a spark plug looking thing that senses the speed. It has a bullet connector on it and it will pull straight up. It has a green and white stiped wire going to it( has a black protector sleeve over it ). Try...
I have the same grips as xtremegriz, they are awesome. Almost a little to warm sometimes but like extremegriz said, 5 different settings. If you dont want to keep you old grips, i just took a exacto knife and cut the grip length wise and it came off with no troubles. But just watch out for...
Yeah, long lake is good, has a trail right around the lake. Buck lake has lots and pretty much driving down any of the gravel roads you will see trials everywhere. If you feel like a drive, go north of Plamondon, there is some wicked trails up there too
Parkland cycle sells them, in stoney plain. phone(780)963-2790 44 boulder blvd. I just bought mine there and they keep them in stock. But just call first to see if they have them cause when i got mine, 3 sets of 29.5" got sold with in 2 days. They were 900 something but they gave me a deal...
I have the '07 version and they are the exact same i believe, except for now you can get them without the electronic stearing. I have been riding with buddies and the ground clearence is unmatched. I had 27" tire on and i had 13 1/4" clearance stock. Now i have the highlifter outlaws 29.5"...
