Nice work. I was looking at doing exactly that as I want belt storage. Especially for here in Sask where I usually don’t have bag or backpack with.

100%. Never underestimate farmer ingenuity. Use what you got Plus he’s a hillbilly from the biggar hills [emoji1787][emoji1787]
Some rigging is all you need with the snow cats they have. Long cable some clamps and a snatch block or 2. Get it over the hills with leverage then your home free...
Valley snow they will run the boulder groomers over and up. 2-3 kitties pushing and filling some of those hills so more gradual Then hook up. Wfo and don’t look back lol

80 with an air drill?? So you’re that guy …. 30 mph is about max there are tricks you have to do to keep the tank from going all over at that even We’ve pulled one home from North Dakota and right by border for ourselves. 20-25mph slow and steady

Don’t use sc lavlin. But charge govt the same. Lots of soil testing companies in the ag world are certified
rm went thru this with decommissioning old dump. Had to test the dirt & water around it for several years. Got ag company same test but 1/10 price.

We are far from flat ground here. Some is some sure isn’t
Unless your lentils are pounded into the dirt they usually aren’t that dirty
Fungicide pass always pays off come combine time. Especially if they get a rain - that likely wouldn’t help if your swathing tho I guess
Interesting how...
They make land rollers for a reason. We have rocks and now have grown lentils on even the worst ground
Also lentils are no heavier than wheat or durum 60lbs bu. Good durum or clean lentils can be 64-66 too
Thanks for the share on durum prices
Sold some at 8.50. 8.75 & 9. Guess 9.50 next...
We are nearing 35 cents. Which is decent Hold out for 40 and carry over again then sell for 30 [emoji1787][emoji1787]

Reds or greens?
Fierce or valterra- edge granular in fall
Good burn off
Clearfield varieties give you a few more options for in crop but not a lot more - non clearfield your limited to sencor and a grassy seperste passes
Bank on a fungicide app- not only for disease prevention but they stand...
Dairy pork chicken & manufacturing. All labour free ( they house, feed, cloth them- but use every service available) farm tax rate for commercial enterprises
pretty hard not to make more money than competition in ag or commercial
