Never had time to call Tom today.
This old 17 800 axy was always a star it started life as a 174 and would always over rev the factory clutch. Even when the sled was loaded heavy pushing headlight deep snow. We had several in the group and this one was quite a bit stronger than the others...
I’m 90% sure I had 30L of 120 race and 10L of premium and it was det city. If I used The octane calculators properly it says that should have been about 113 octane. I’d like to run 10-12 pounds on av As it’s easy to get. If I want to use the upper 1/2 of the boost gauge I’ll run race.
Going up...
I was thinking of that, kinda like the fix kits. I’m not sure if I could get a thin enough piece of aluminum to only drop the comp psi by 20. I don’t have any personal experience with the old rotax and the different base gasket thickness to see how much the psi drops per .010 of a inch
Last year I built a different high boost mod sled. It only had 1.5 days on it till I broke off a shitty carbon fiber reed and hurt the engine. I knew the reeds were not gonna last long but figured I’d get atleast two test days in. Anyways I rebuilt the engine with some wisco slugs that I’ve had...
It’s a FCL corporate card No equity on that card. However I’d rather save now rather than getting an equity cheque and giving 1/2 to the government come the year end. I’m not a huge fuel consumer maybe 10-15k a year.

Seems Flying j’s are always high. COOP card lock price. I need to watch the regular price as sometimes it’s higher than pump price [emoji35].

Our acreage never sold in time. So yesterday we signed a 2 year commercial mortgage on a different property at 7%. I’m not old enough to remember anything higher. When I bought my first home back in 2012 @350k it was 3.5%. I though wow this is crappy, can’t imagine what ppl are thinking now...
I changed my tire size on my 22 f250. I used forscan to set the speedo to the tire size. It asked me for the tire diameter in mm Type in that number and save it. Super easy.
Also works good to shut off all the dings, honk and beeps.

I run a coop card lock being from Sk it just makes sense as they are everywhere.
Currently clear diesel prices on my corporate card are.
Edmonton diesel price is 1.4950
Valemount diesel price is 1.9010
Sk price is 1.6525
Edit; I’m a very small fuel user and burn 12-15k a year.
Edit...
Buddy has a couple, The parts for them are pretty simple. Any crafty machine shop can easily supply you with what you need.

I’ve ran a k mod for a few years. They don’t hold the power as well as a racer edge or a timbersled but are the smoothest outa the three I’ve ran. If your into riding non groomed areas it will be the ticket. I would buy a k mod again.
Ps the timber sled I’m running might feel like it holds...
That’s bs I worked in the power industry (repairing the machines to make it) for a few years when I lived in Edmonton. Not very often we would be buying power. We actually preferred to produce extra power so we could sell it to the USA for a premium. That was 10 years ago and a lot has changed...
Here’s my built 557 ford stroker with 50 hours on it guy who built it botched it big time. Nothing but issues since I got it. Motors heading to abs in Jan. Heard from many ppl that’s where to send stuff in Sk.
I’m always Leary about hiring buddy’s buddy for jobs as it usually never works out...
Built a ford 557 for my boat and the shop that did it absolutely botched it. Ran great for 50 hours last summer this year it’s been out 3 times and now it’s locked up solid. Locked it up a month ago have not put the spare motor in yet. I have it booked in at a different shop for January.

Maybe the less carbon taxed province could transfer their credits to provinces with higher carbon taxes, you know Kinda like transfer payments.

I think it was a 06/07. He got his parts at a junk yard. Everything he need was under $100. We are happy about the situation as now he now joined the ford long box and 8ft deck club.
