It mounts with two plastic push pins by the brp logo and then the edges push under the lip between the two hood sections. Super easy to pop the edges out and get to the muff pot. Was $99 and took about 15 mins to map out the section to cut out and remove...

Found a removable nose vent at Specialty, installed it today. Thanks for the tips everyone.

That’s why I want to nose vent, muff pot on the race can doesn’t work worth a damn. Need more heat. I will give them a call and see if they have the vent still.

Hey NoBrakes. Mine is an 875 motor built by Linderman. The 872s are built by trigstad. Sure love my 875. The digit9 guys are a blast! Looking forward to getting out with them again this year. Landon
