"decent" within an hour is a tough one. i live in westbank and find that i can be at greystokes and unloaded just within an hour so that might be your best bet. i have been up pennask (connector) and unless you know the area, i think you are just looking for a landmine filled day.

was up laforge today. Awesome powder up top, but NOTHING down on the bottom. Unloaded at the staging area, and about 500 meters up the trail you have about 1 km of mud, dirt and rocks to drive thru. Cant beleive they are still charging full trail pass rates for what? driving you sled on gravel?

So i just got this sled (thrown in with trailer).Its a 1995 Ext 580. Heres the little background i know. The previous owner knew nothing about it. Had it for 5 years, seeing minimal use and hadnt actually started it up this season. I did a compression check and got 100 psi out of both cylinders...

was a great ride- snow was alot better than i had expected. some areas socked in, while others we had blue sky and the sun shinning. was a busy day up there too- just have to know where to go

i went up there on the 29th to test out a few tweeks on the sled. Trails were skimpy in some areas near the lower levels and banks areant really built up in the parking lot.
