Best place to buy XPS oil

It's the start of the season and I want to buy about 6 cases (24 x 4L) of XPS semi synthetic oil. Anyone know where a guy can get a good deal on the stuff. Is it even worth the hassle or should I switch to an aftermarket brand for better value. XPS seems more expensive and I always feel like...

    Sled wreckers or wrecked sleds.

Does anyone know where to find a sled wrecker with newer sleds (rev xp) around Edmonton? Or does anyone have a damaged brake resevoir assembly for a Rev XP. I'm looking for a little part inside the housing and don't want to buy an entire assembly if I don't have to. Thanks in advance for any...

how in the H*ll do you change slides?

The track clip slides between the slider (plastic) and the slide rail (metal) and the slider just drops to the floor. That's why you only blip the throttle or run the track slow in reverse when you do it. And only do one side at a time.

how in the H*ll do you change slides?

Do this for each one (side) seperately: Tap the slide out through the track window about 6 inchs. Fire up the sled, put it in reverse and blip the trottle. The slider will peel off like a banana. And no, it doesn't damage anything. I done this many times and haven't had a problem yet...

i need some help loading my sled.....

Loading is as easy as 1, 2, 3... 1.) Point your sled towards the ramp and jack the back of your sled off the ground with a 2x4. 2.) Start your sled and hold the throttle wide open. 3.) Close your eyes and rock the sled from side to side until it falls off the jack stand. Your sled should...

    brp import warranty

Sorry if you took any offense to my post. I just don't agree that BRP or any manufacturer should void a warranty on their product because it was bought in the states. It sometimes seems as though dealers are reluctant to help you whether you bought your sled down south or from a competing...

    brp import warranty

This is the kind of dealer we should all support because he appreciates his customers regardless of where they bought their sled. Sly is absolutely right as far as pricing and I think he has a great attitude towards his customers. But some other dealers treat you as though it's a privilage to...

    brp import warranty

I realize that BRP is just trying to protect it's dealers and charge more from canadians because we'll pay more (different market segments, etc.) Unfortunately, most dealers have this same attitude whether you purchased your sled down south or from the next closest dealer in your area. Is it...

    Where to rent sleds?

Just a heads up... A friend of ours drove 11 hours from Saskatchewan and rented an XP for $300 from a certain dealer in McBride. The dealer told him the tank was full of gas, yet 2 hours into the day at Renshaw, it only had 2 bars left showing (out of ten). There were 5 more of us on our own...

    Not Bashing

I went to an un-named dealer in fort saskatchewan for a part on my Yamaha Nytro. The "knob" with an attitude behind the counter said it would take a week to 10 days to get in unless I paid extra for express shipping, then it would be 2-3 days. 4 days later, I went to get it, but it wasn't in...

Habervision Eliminator (A Testimonial by Dan Gardiner)

I have a pair of Smith Turbo Fan goggles too. I never turn the fan on and they work fine. I have 2 other pairs of goggles without any fans and they work great too. I think fans are a gimmick. (jmo)

    Skidoo Dealers-Good and bad!

I went to Martin south to buy an new Summit XP. Had the cash in my pocket while I was there (mostly from the sale of my last sled). Tried to negotiate a few hundred dollars off a $14,000 sled, but the sales guy wouldn't budge. Went out to the parking lot and called 2 other dealers before...

    Legal action

Was the seller the registered owner? If not, he may be "curbing" vehicles which is illegal in Alberta without a dealer license. If he was, you may have recourse through AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council). Call them and they can advise you of your rights.
