Don't know what the trails are like now, but if they got snow like Calgary there should be 8-10 inches of new. Nice thing about the Chinook winds, they blow over top of the Etherington/Cataract creek area so the snow doesn't disappear as fast.

I've got a 98 Yamaha SRX 700, and I'm going through it this summer to make sure its ready for next season. I've takin the drive chain off to inspect the whole gear box and thought the chain seemed very sloppy in the housing. I can't find any info on how to set the proper tension in my service...
Hard to say. If any of the snow that hit Calgary got back there it may be ok. Watch out for rocks. I've also heard an avalanche warning for this weekend in the backcountry.
Member Bunn and I got into the back bowls on Sunday. Lots of rock to traverse across, but the playing was great once we got back in there. (As the pics show). Didn't take any chances on climbing. The pack was too unpredictable, so we stayed in the trees. What a hoot plowing the powder.
