avalanche saftey canada is willing to put on a course during these dates. they need min of four people and i have myself and one other. if anyone is interested let me know. they would need to know by around dec 16. the price is 325 and this is the sled specific course. thanks, davis

Looks like me and a buddy will be heading in that direction on sat afternoon. He has not ridden in the mountains either. Neither of us are very familiar with the area and hope to meet up with someone more familiar with the area on Sunday am.
