I got a "what's news" email on my Boss web account that says to only run the full synth in the e-tec and to 100% recommend it to my customers during their walkthrough on their new baby, and that the sticker that is on the oil tank is incorrect.
Once again I'm not a tech but I get called to the back of the shop lots after a client has brought in a unit that he swears hedoes not know what happened and it just stopped running( more on atv's than sleds) and budds tells it all, overheats, over rev's, etc) I'd bet Sno Pro could tell you...
as the owner who was riding the sled did not pay for it and had it given to him for the season as a "demo", I'd suspect that he ran-it-till-she-blew.....
we had 1 e-tec failure at our shop last season, the little "pin" that stops the piston ring from spinning around came out....I'm not a tech so I dont know all the details but I do know that the sled was overheaded over 80 times when we plugged it into Budds, and the had even cooked off the black...

Your welcome to try mine as it's my demo( 2012 Freeride 154 2.5), I had one last year too( 2011 Freeride 154), I did not feel any difference in weight, but the suspension (especially in deeper trail whoops in the spring) made the X feel pretty feeble. Where you could tell you were going to...
Never said Maxwell posted bad stuff, I'm not taking any more bait tonight though, you dudes are crazy, drop by the shop and I'll hook you up as always...
