If they aren't good on ice what's the point of running winter tires? Any decent AT is good in snow. I've never ran summer/winter tires and don't understand the point, unless you are running massive miles in the winter on the highway it doesn't make any sense.

Anyone who is taking truck in for that recall needs to be sure to tell them ONLY to do the recall and nothing else. That way if they pull the actuator, even if it's seized they have to put it back and ensure it's still calibrated so you can get it fixed elsewhere. Now will they do that, I doubt...

Some day you will have a clue but not today. Turbo actuator not part of engine warranty which is the only thing covered by the 5/160 unless you have extended warranty.

That letter makes no sense, the warranty on turbo actuator is not the 5/160km that is engine only, not addons like turbo, unless that is in reference to people with extended warranty? Also considering it says electrical, they will likely not fix any with stuck vanes.
