I had 2 18’s and both of them had tps problems that did weird things like that on top of running way too rich. Took me a year and 2 dealers to figure it out. Yes should run around 100 degF.
It will help but won’t solve the problem. Almost every 19 needed at least 1 reflash. Save yourself the grief of changing plugs on the side of a mountain.
Spoke to them today to remind them they have had my 3 for almost a month. Nice person explained they were cleaned out early and that they just received a new shipment. Couple hours later email indicating my one that was still under warranty was on its way and for $100 each my out of warranty...
I sent my 3 back but they must be getting flooded as I have not got an offer back. It’s been 3 weeks now so I’ll call next week. If they don’t do something next week new beacons and they will not be pieps.
And that right there is why I deal at that awesome dealership just west of Edmonton. No BS and treated fairly. Those guys in Fort Sask may have bought Elk Island but they did not buy the family part of that operation. No clue.
Do the delete yourself it is super easy on the Fords. My son just did his 15. Order parts from Dirty Diesel Customs in Kelowna. CCS tunes per Gotboost above work great. Pull out the def tank and install a 240 liter. Never have to stop.
Yeah can’t say enough good things about them. They have looked after me very well. I have 3 other dealers closer to me but I’ll drive across the city to deal with them any day.
Yep when you find a great dealer it makes all the difference. I have had nothing but an awesome experience at Cycle Works West. Top notch sales, service and parts. Had a few sleds with issues and warranty claim issues and they went to bat for me big time. I wouldn’t even consider another dealer...
Yeah I just went through this. Read carefully and ask lots of questions. I provided information on AST, gear including inreach etc. they will insure but I found I had to lead them to the water to fully understand.
Great thread guys. I have been very fortunate to sled with my family. We started out with one sled that I doubled the kids on in the yard. Then my oldest was about 9 and getting too big to double. Expanded the fleet to a Indy Lite that was long tracked and another sled for my wife. As the kids...
30-35 days the last few years. Much easier when they grow up and pull your ski but a lot more expensive!!! Wouldn’t trade it for anything. Plus I get to hang out with JungleJim and his crew on occasion and that’s priceless!!!
