Its to early for me this year around here. There is far to much chit on the road. Other years that have been warmer earlier we have been out at this time. I did see a few bikes out in town yesterday though and the street sweepers are starting their initial cleaning passes. I did "help" the boy...
I think you certainly get what you pay for wit these. The Lexins worked for me when teaching my son how to ride a bike and get ready for his class 6. They also work good if you have a passenger on the back of the bike. I haven't had the "squealing" issue Cubby mentioned when you go out of range...
I have a set of these for the bikes. They work good for communication. There is better/more spendy stuff out there if you want good sound for music. I'm not sure how the batteries would last in the cold with these.
We listened to Bat Out of Hell on the way home from Edmonton last nigh and again at home when they played the album on the radio. What a great album! I really wish I would have seen him live.
If you use the spray foam lay a blanket or cloth under the bars to catch the mess if there is any. Use low expanding foam. If you do get some of it on something, wait until it dries before attempting to clean it up. I haven't done mine but saw these tips online somewhere.
