Just looked it up and Mount Toma is a good one at almost 8800 ft. Does anyone know what the trail is like and if it is open to machines?

Mt Hammel and Kaw Ridge by Grande Cache are pretty good rides.Been up there a couple times. Back roads map book lists Sugarloaf Mountain ,west of Claresholm as a quad accessible trail to a fire lookout over 8000 ft. Has anyone rode this one?

We recently rode the Canoe Mountain trail near Valemount, BC, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Took us up to about 8500 ft I believe. Anybody know of a comparable high elevation ride here in Alberta?

I think the Canoe river Campground was around $20/night.I like the piece of mind knowing all your stuff is safe while out all day on the trail.The showers,picnic tables and fire pits are an added bonus.Wood is for sale.I believe there is some random stuff down the east side of the lake,the old...

Hi Folks,last couple years we stayed at Canoe river campground.Quad friendly and you can ride out to the trails.Recommend the Canoe mountain trail for awesome alpine scenery. This year the plan might be to ride down the east side of Kinbasket lake south of the marina.

I'll keep an eye open up here.

Wasn't aware the motorized side of it was segmented in BC. Here in Alberta motorized is motorized.All lumped together. Trials bikes are a rarity with snorkeled mud quads being the order of the day.With some of the conflicts going on ,I could see restrictions coming right up.Ride on!.

Doin' good Max. Probably the last time we camp overnight there for us as well . Thinking about heading a little further west by Edson or maybe north at Long Island lake instead.
