just wondering if the 163 3" gets the same treatment when it comes to the lug spacing and weight loss (porting) that the 174 gets...
Any ideas or answers for a guy??
THanks guys/gals!!!!!!
Your Airbox slides out the side (clutch side) by pulling on a little tab on the side right behind secondary..
I tell you what, I pulled my brothers etec right out and believe me its not all the bad.... only took about an hour once you got the panels hood and exhaust off..
then it slides out...
I know someone who ran into this issue too.... The ended up wrecking the tunnel and he needed a new one..... Since they ordered a new tunnel they forgot to tell factory to re- stamp vin into replacement tunnel... Now wherever he goes he has to have a little chunk of his old tunnel with the VIN#...
I heard BRP knew there was an issue, but that could be trash talk too..
I heard that BRP has a fix on the way.... I also heard that if you buy ones for a 2013 they work much better.... Seems silly that they would mess with something like that... The ones in the '13s worked great Now everyone...
I can agree that the material that the holder is made of is tough and durable, BUT the only think that it is anchored to is the jerry can handle itself, which is only molded or plastic welded to the can.... I to more technical than straight up climbing and can see me hooking that thing on a tree...
I said nothing about it being a "D-Bag " Move fella.... Just having some fun the same way everyone else does on this site... Didn't mean to give you a complex....
Way to over-analyze a simple funny comment and make a profile thats way out to lunch!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to sit in my room and...
I hope that I get my old factory shocks back.... Dealer didn't say anything about that but I will be sure to ask when I pick mine up....
Not in too much of a hurry to get my sled... I told my dealer to worry about all the garage sledders out there first before worrying about me....
Besides...
So the waterproof pocket isn't really waterproof (at least mine)... went to try to stretch out the clear liner and rrriiipppp.... The seam for the clear plastic blew right out... Oh well still a cool bag!!
Mine did not fit right either Maxwell... The tank now pushed the panel outwards (tank rubbed the inside of panel, not got a worn spot) and the little socket has now cracked and is soon to fall off due to the mis-alignment..... it does snap together dont getr me wrong..... BUT I have to Push...
COMPLETELY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!! About the repair with proper piece not the riding Polaris thing..... Cant do that....... The wife will Divorce me!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess Dealers have had a few hand-fulls of sleds come in with that issue... IF you aren't looking you wont see it..... I never saw it
Bernoffs sled and Young-Guns sled had the issue as well.....
All replaced and taped up....
I guess there has been some issues with the RAVE Covers melting.... Apparently the heat from the Y-pipe ends up melting the bottom of the cover.... When I got mine back from First service they replaced my cover and left me the old one... The hole was double the size of a toonie!!!!!!!!
Anywho...
Does anyone know IF BRP assessed the "Oil Tank Issue" for the 2014 sleds, or should we expect the little Aluminum Bracket to be there right from factory???
Asked the dealers when I picked my sled up from First Service and didn't get much of an answer....
What about other qwerks that 2014 has...
