Limiter strap up and change out your front spring in the front shock to one that is softer and or shorter. You want to change your skid geometry on the polaris for the mountains. Thats my:twocents:
They sure look like gagne drag pipes to me:Snowmobile1: I agree with deano wouldn't touch them unless you want to be doing some engine work:nono:. You have the probe distance right 4" from piston skirt. Temps don't mean anything if you don't check wash and plugs so tune and have some fun.
I agree with pipes friend has 07 m1000 blew two belts in 8 miles loaded in truck put it in my shop pulled off the secondary and it was broken he was :realmad: We changed it and put in rock rollers and it is 100%
Have an 08 M8 also and have done some lightweight mods. Light weight seat (boss) biggest loss, speedwerx snopro intake, change from 4 to 2 wheel at back, cf rails good to and front end but be careful they break alot easier and for the rest not to sure.
But if you want the best for your 6000...
Polarisryder is right no gain from can just weight loss and SLP pipe for 2001 and 2000 are the same and those years only NON VES. SLP's pipe for the 2002 -2005 are the same also VES motor.
:)

Just wondering if you are still interested in the sled? Good time to take it for a ride it finally warmed up, family went out for a little ride today everything's 100!
Thanks,
Ross
I still have the exact same sled as you and did the rail extensions and big wheel kit right after the first ride as I was dissapointed in the performance! No need for tunnel extension all you have to do is put a small piece of aluminum under your snow flap to keep it from getting sucked under. I...
My hats off to you!! That is an amazing amount of work, until a person does work like that engineering your own parts and design no one knows what it is like. Its people like yourself thinking way out of the box for new ideas! :canadaflag:
