Rear brackets might be a problem. You could move them but then it would be on a thinner part of the tunnel and have less strength. They rivet to the running board and I've broke a few as they are on a 146. Front mount also has a brass colored brace that may not be easy to move.

This is the way... Put the shock end on the floor and push the spring cap down with two hands. Tilt it away from the shaft through the opening in the cap.
Buy new springs anyway, that sled has enough miles. Plus you could look at some better shocks too. Those ones suuuuuuuuuck.

Sorry for those of you who can't see this - need a facebook login.
It is just a plastic sheath. I just did mine, while doing a top end. I was furious with the dumb ch!t who designed this at brp. Without taking the bottom end off the mounts there was no room for my hands in there.
I could see a cold start on a 07 XRS where they don't have thermostats. But with your evidence of a proper warm up and the small likelyhood that it was a "pull the cord and pin it" there should be no repair bill and a rental discount.
All Season Rentals hey, well I'm taking my work buds out...
Ok I needed to find this out for me and the original poster. I called BRP and they confirmed that your warranty is only applicable in the country that you bought it. Unless you fill out a dealer form for cross boarder entitlement. And for that you need proof of residency. (utility bill)...
That price would be fine end of last year. Couple of my friends bought 2010 46 everests (in feb 2010) and they were advertised several places for $9900 CAN.
Skidoo is going the way of large superstore dealerships and unless you do what Maxwell has built with his dealer (20 grand in parts)...
BRP is a company that honors their warranty internationally.
Back of the line for service is no different than buying from a different canuck dealer. I moved for work and needed to establish a relationship with local dealers. Call it normal service rather than preferential....
I called today...
I'll borrow you mine, case of beer would be awesome!! :)
Buddy broke a roller bushing and had a spare short track; changed spring and helix and this is how it went back together.
09 146X. Nothing is technically wrong but the clearence between the rear upper shock mount and the track is so close that my shock looks sandblasted from rubbing (or close to it).
Also the front arm has track rubber marks on it from the first ride (I powdercoated white from new) It seems to rub...
There's been a couple injury's this year and lots of interest in the medical rescue system. Response time and jurisdiction seem to be different per incident and per organization. Kakwa has been a hotspot for discussion about this but the issue will be the same for nearby riding areas. Red...

We did Hasler on Nov 20 and 21. First day was a big effort breaking trail but it's concrete now. Huge snow out there!!!, went half way down the creek to Alum bowl on Sunday. The creek was wicked fun and burnt all our gas.
Remember to call road radio and switch at 9km. We were run off the...
Groomer is heading out today, will push in creeks and groom to the falls. After Dec 1 he'll get in further to the lake and hopefully be done by the 5/6 weekend.
Thanks guys, It's not worth breaking the rules. Any sledding will have to stay in AB, go to Kakwa falls maybe. We've already had warnings from BC Parks that sleds have been in early to the lake. Go to Red Deer Falls, Core Lodge, Wolverine, Hasler, Beaver Creek, Silver sands, Bijour Falls...
