Yeah......I love reading ads in the classifieds:
2011 kx450 4 sale. This bike is a rocket and is only for experienced riders. Wife says it has to go!
HA! You just know that he "whiskey throttled" himself into a tree or his house, or whatever because his ego said 450 when he should have bought...
I was going to ride this for another year:
06 YZ250 2-smoker
Change of plans! Start work at Kelowna Honda Powerhouse on Tues. morning, so I'll be switching to a 4-stroke full-time now!
Will be putting my name on one of the crates this week. 2012 CRF450R!! Woohoo!!:thumbsup2:
Anyone on here heard anything about this track?? Located at the same site as the drag strip, sounds like a cool track with mostly natural terrain and lots of elevation changes:cool:
Mud races are only fun for the guy that pulls off an underdog win! At least I have lots of cold beverages in the fridge! Sucks when the Monster girls have to wear jackets, too!
Rather than buy both cases, I've had good luck with TIG welding the hole closed again. A lot cheaper and only cost me $50 at a local fab shop to repair the same damage on a CRF.
I've also worked on bikes that have been JB'd or epoxy'd back together years before and are still working fine and...
Dungey had a broken collarbone last week, but still gutted out a second. Had surgery to get it plated this week so will miss Daytona.
Stewie will be way out front before he augers himself and Villipoto will cruise by to pick up ANOTHER win!:beer:
Thanks for all the old pics!! I think you motivated me enough with your collection to finally fire up the scanner and post some of my old school sled pics!
My Mom took a lot of pics in the 60's, 70's and '80's when we were riding in the Graystokes in Kelowna, and we always did a couple trips a...
Ha! You guys are great! I have similar motocross stories! Was actually easier.....you could roll the whole bike into the room when the owner wasn't looking:beer:
I did the Ft Mac to Kelowna commute back in the early 90's. Kelowna is too expensive for most to move to. I grew up in K-town, so of course my favorite, but have always thought that the Sicamous area has the best combo of wicked sled area's and primo lakes.
In the spring and early summer, you...
That stuck pic is awesome!! Sometimes, with those old sleds, that's what you did ALL DAY just to get to the 1st cabin or above the treeline! First time in the mountains with my parents was approx. 3 yrs old (1971) on Mom's sled sitting in front of her & hangin' on to the gas cap. First time on...
Sooo......how is the sleddin' down in Texas this year?? Ha!
A texan from fiji signs up at a snowmobile forum?? HHMMMMMMM........seems kinda out of place??
Ft Mac should have some decent fab shops. I would bash it all as straight as you can at home in the garage, then take some pics of the VE or similar bumper set-up with you. If they have a CNC router or water jet it doesn't cost too much to carve up 2 flat pieces of alum , and adding custom stuff...
