Overkill I have the original 700 pipe and muffler in excellent shape. Plus a set of jaws twin pipes. I would sell. The stock pipe is in excellent shape as I took off when sled quite new. I'm in rimbey area. Talk to Greg but I'm almost 100% sure your 600 pipe is fine.
In the case of zx pipe I don't think you will as it's the same pipe. However I put on a rev pipe which have been revised since 2000. The only pipe that is different is the 800.The 600 may have a slightly smaller outlet on pipe which is where the gains would be had.If you are worried about it I...
Ahhh Captain Jack. Thanks for the kind words. Those were the good ol days for sure. I thought you were playing in the sand dunes? If you quads go like your ol triples the dunes likely spun all flat!!!
I know what he's gonna say. Lol. Know him personally. But hey. spend the dime. Its his head and shim kit in the 700 that I installed in the 600 chassis that I used the 600 pipe on.Too funny. Do let us know.
Same pipe. No problem you likely see gains. We installed a 2000 700 twin in my daughters 600 summit. Used the 04 rev pipe. This thing is mean. A 800 better have its tune on kill or its toast. Minor mods to 700. Lol
Now that brings back some memories!! We were a bunch of young seasoned cut line riders from Alberta when we met Waldy in parking lot!Or I should say on the side of the road at west side of dam cause there was no such thing as boulder frisby lots then. I recall my buddies and myself on road trip...
Awe yes Waldy Petrowski(not sure on spelling). Met him on our way up Frisby on our 85 plus's!!He was concerned his sled may be to noisey so wanted us to go first. Lol. His pipes exit right out right side belly pan side. Quite a few years ago.
I've always said. Whoever comes out with big bore triple with today's tec will kick ass. I've weighed the 800r and 809 triple without pipes and carbs they are nearly identical. A big bore single pipe will make 185 fairly easy so I think it would be quite doable and likely nearly identical...
I like the 4stroke lube system. Pressure oil to rods. All this is good. Removable rods is good also however
still have to split crank to remove bearing. Or is bearing two halves?
Displacement has everything to do with it!A number of years ago I did a tour of rotax in Austria, our guide was a lady named Bridgette Wagner and her husband was one of chief engineers on rotary valve engine. At the time the 800 ho was just coming out. Bridgette said at the time 700 cc was the...
Well installed the 9116m. It's tight with the 7 tooth drives. Made one trip to revy and it worked well with 872. Having a little wheelie issue now with 163 skid so added the zbros coupler kit. If that don't help it will be a visit to Daryl baker. Other than that seems fine.
Is yours a 13 also? No it shouldn't make a difference unless that track is 2.86 pitch. 2.86x7 = 20.82 diameter and 3"x7 = 21 inches. So it would be a lil smaller.
Thanks artic. My sons been thinking of that 156 3" on his trygstad 872 rev. He has the 150x 2.5 and was getting some serious track speed lol. I'll try this the way it is if it's rubbing to much I'll try case. Thanks. I bumped gearing up a tooth.
I just installed 3" track 9116m into xm with 7tooth avid drivers. I notice in on spot just at start of driver the track lug just Knicks tunnel brace at top. Anyone have this before? I'm thinking new t3 has longer case.
