ya don't want be the one going to jail. trust me I know first hand! the legal system does not look kindly toward someone doing their job.. they will make a point of throwing the book at you. sad but true... hey I would love to see thieves, murders, and rapists all get what they truly deserve...
my old CR500 was a beast like that too. my issue was wearing myself out and wrenching my back just getting the thing started. man, what I would have done for electric start on that bike
Since when are we comparing ourselves to Europe? For one the population density difference is HUGE! Sure an LRT will help in some areas, but there is no way your going to efficiently and economically service all the urban sprawl. Sure I think a high speed train between places like Edmonton...
Just saw a news clip from Manitoba as I was flipping channels. They said distracted driving is now the number one cause of accidents in the province, above impaired. yesterday I pull up next to what I would say was a middle aged woman. she has her phone somehow mounted on the center of the...
that's the trouble, it should not be a hidden cost, or something added on after the fact. If it was laid out to you up front will all other costs involved, it really should not be an issue.
In the bodyshop work they break it down in a couple category's body supply, and paint supply with different rates for either. body supply covers welding materials, fillers, sandpaper, and anything involved with the metal work end of things. paint supply (which is much higher rate) covers...
saw the goofiest thing the other day. ford ranger with a body kit made to look like a raptor. google it hahaha just looked weird with its narrow cab and stance
I agree riverjet! mighty painful... first they tax our income, then tax any which way we spend it, throw in some environmental taxes here and there. Bend over for the tax man
that's a brutal statistic. I would like to know how many of those involved someone messing with their phone... Riding a bike, I see it all the time. What happened to the good old days of having to wait?
I guess that the mayor thinks a ring road will divert traffic from making it to their revitalized downtown? They really need to pull their heads out of their azzes, and get with the program. With the henday already over capacity, it only makes sense. the province see's it! so how can the mayor...
If they were smart they would be building that somewhere more feasible as well... not everyone is gonna take the LRT to games. I fail to see how they will accommodate parking.. Highrise parkades in the works?? Wonder what parking will cost then?
that's my thought as well. at least get the ball rolling now, keep the developers from building in the proposed route. as fast as the city has grown lately its hardly a bypass route anymore. And it gets backed up for miles! maybe 6 lanes would help, but? I don't think there is room to pull that...
So I guess it was brought up again today, what do you think? I am seeing the henday backed up for miles pretty regularly now. It took many many years of planning to get the henday where it is now, and the mayor thinks its a waist of land use and money to start planning for the next ring road.
That's a very good question! They ride thru the trails in my back yard, horses crapping on my trails! They seem to think they are like sask. sledders LOL.... If I wanted horse crap on my trails I would buy my own horse!
