that's a lot to expect to cut the trip short a day. especially with the extreme cold, because I would expect the weather to quite possibly shorten your ride time as it is. once you get that chill in you, its likely time to start heading back down. but hey? not my call
I think part of the problem with a lot of kids now is a general lack of respect. They have been raised in a society when their parents are scared to spank them when they did wrong. If a kid has no respect for their parents, then who do they respect? I got spanked when I was bad kid... didn't...
I would turn up the pump as well. not sure what it is your riding, but if it's fuel injected the oil can clog injectors as well as changes viscosity of the fuel resulting in an altered fuel/air mix. a carb model may require a jetting change.
I cannot argue that point deaner. I cannot imagine having to del with some of the stuff the police do. no doubt. and as far as racism I pretty much hate everyone equally. Other than perhaps my rat bag cheating ex lol. She has a special place in my heart with extra resentment and regret... but...
I am trying to look at this from both sides. not defending the dead kid, or the cop, and certainly don't condone the actions of protesters. But how does something like this happen and without some kind of judicial trail. put him in front of a jury. any ordinary citizen would end up in court...
I can see trying to stop someone with a non fatal shot, but it seems this guy pretty much unloaded the gun on this kid. where do you draw the line. cops are not supposed to be judge jury and executioner. WTF? seems there were a lot of witnesses saying claiming otherwise.
So what's your folks take on the protests, and what is your opinion on these recent police shootings in the US? Pretty crazy stuff.. My opinion there should be a trial.
600 would be a better choice if you ever plan to put it on a track. other than that I would personally go 750, but this is coming from a guy who rides a 1000. :)
I bet it was fun... I bought a new cat from cycle works back in 93. and I recall seeing the rig there many times. With fuel prices today you would think it would be a popular way to go to the hills. but? And what a bonus if they watched over everything overnight. that would be one less concern.
Call me old if you like... but at this point in my life, I would not buy a new sled without it. I have wrenched my back enough times kicking over dirtbikes or pulling the cord on the sleds. Nothing worse than injuring or wearing yourself out before the riding even starts
One of my buddies recently lost his job. Government cutbacks on infrastructure. they were budgeting on the high price of oil to get the work done. now some of this work is getting put on hold.
I actually just went with a galaxy S5... personally not a fan of the BIG phones, but that seems to be the way of the world now... The reason I picked a Samsung, 1 - It has a replaceable battery, 2 - can add a card and expand memory, 3 - Its waterproof...
