Converting my 294 elan to a mikuni. Tried tons of research of installing a 34mm. Has been done from what i read just no luck finding a breakdown on what anybody has used for guts..... anyone have any input? If i cant find much info i will be doing a 30mm just have a 34mm on hand is all.

I "rebuild" and a good cleaning every year. Easy maintenance. Could be your bushings, sticky roller, sticky arms. Dont know till inspected

Awesome thanks. What did you do to the airbox dowstream to be able to clamp the new boot to it? Just trim off the tits for the old style twist lock?

What size of track are you using? I went from a 154 2.5 to a 154 3". Have 19/51 gears out of the box and changed ramps to 413s and lighter pin weight with the 2.5. Worked great but now with the 3" i find i could backshift quicker
