Up here IMO it's to push big industry. Coal Mines were popping up everywhere a couple years ago stripping natural caribou habitat. Then certain groups challenged these mining permits that our "honest" politicians were handing out like candy. Now the Government is targeting non Caribou habitat...
HaHaHa, are you serious? Politicians being honest, now that is a joke. I can tell you that writing letters to the Enviro Minister is good. But you will not be made aware of all the behind the scenes meetings on Caribou habitat with key groups. So how far do you think the letter you wrote will...
I have been the President of the Pine Valley Trail Blazers in Chetwynd for the last 5 years. I don't know Moyiesledhead, I give him 100% credit for his involvement. What I do not get is going around the one and only tool we have to fight closures and that's the clubs.
Not to be a prick but this is the problem the BCSF and ABC have been dealing with. We are not united, and the greenies and government knows this. All this talk about public protests and such is just talk, if you cant or wont support your local club (which also supports the BCSF or ABC in our...
Stand behind your snowmobile clubs and support them. Volunteer with your local club, buy memberships, go to the meetings that your local club have. The best way to save our sport is to back the BCSF/ABC they are the voice that is heard by the Government. Not many of you have even suggested...
This has been discussed over and over. All of these kits have 1, 000 miles on them. I tend to agree with Kelsey, the stock pistons are garbage.
How do you guys know that the 13's and 14's have had engine failure problems. I have not read or heard anywhere that they are loosing skirts like...
I just received the following Mountain Caribou Draft for the South Peace. This is very concerning to all Sledders that ride these areas.
Chetwynd Pine Valley Snowmobile Club through BCSF will work very hard to mantain our rights to access the back country. Constructive feedback is appreciated.
I can answer this. They belong to the people of British Columbia, and the clubs that hold tenures for those areas. Well any Mountains that are in BC anyways.
Yes and clubs fight every year for those Tenure areas. We are still losing areas to ride. You should be grateful that you can ride in some of the best snowmobiling in the world for only 20 bucks. SOME out of province sledders have no fn clue.
Fish and Wildlife - Environment - Province of...
Soon there will be permit passes for some (most) riding areas in BC due to closures ie: cariboo, CAA recommendations, ect. There will be a set number of passes in a calander year and it will be up to the local clubs that have Trail establishment under Forest and Range Practices Act to grant...
I am running a 15" 162 Challenger Extreme, not a 16". I was what,,,,,4-5 sled lengths ahead or was it more like 6-8 can't remember. Just giving you the gears buddy. But all fairness to Avossler, his sled still has some clutching issues.
Teeroy, we were up Hasler this weekend, snow was ok...
