Depends what turbo kit your comparing? MPI/yamaha, mcx, boost it? Ive ridden most viper, apex and nytro kits and my boost it kit to me had hands down the best throttle response be great to compare with the sindwinder side by side at same boost levels..
2016 had weak rods on the early production engines not 2015.. Lots of issues?? 2008-2015 same engine and pretty much bullet proof with boost, water to air intercooler only way to go. Good on Yamaha for bringing a factory turbo out but your always limited for boost and always want more.
I haven't rode a sidewinder yet but my boost it viper is the best handling and lightest turbu Yamaha I've owned , throttle response is unreal and if you want to crank up the boost add some race and go .. here's a link sled is mint tons of extras will look at trades ..

Hondas are know to be the worst for over fueling unless you run a aftermarket fuel controller and are the lowest for Hp..Crappy clutch as well.. Id be looking for a Ktm or a yammie.. The efi bikes usually 1 or 2 kicks on the ones Ive run in winter.. I went with a Yz450fx last season its nice to...
-22 just after New Years in Valemount , I'm a warm weather rider an it wasn't bad had to warm hands up a couple times on way up an wore a heavier base layer. It got warmer as we went up which helped . Blocked one rad in an temps were 160-170 degrees all trip.
I have a tobe customer service is crap one of seams let go after 2nd ride contacted them multiple times emails phone calls pics etc no response last year an this year. I had it fixed easy enough but wont be buying there products again. Suit stayed dry last season this season Ive gotten soaked...
Motor weights should be close to the same then add the turbo.. Cant see alot of differences in the chassis from the viper . I got my turbo viper down to 620 full fuel after a few parts an mods
Engine looks awesome hopefully it can take more boost without doing internals as 180-190 hp isnt much with all that weight..Same chassis different plastic and Id bet its close to the weight of my turbo viper within a couple pounds. At a 20 grand price tag I'll be keeping my 15
Wheres all the specs and info on this thing? Looks cheap from what a guy can see plastic spindle, plastic tunnel, square tubing for the track kit frame? The mono rail looks like it would work for handling purposes but the rest of skid looks heavy. Track looks decent don't know much about sherco...
Thermostat and some type of engine shroud is a must to keep engine temps hot and keep fuel out of oil on 4 strokes. Change oil every 4-5 hours keep it off the rev limiter you"ll be fine. I havent heard of any failures on stock 450s once you start doing mods big bores or boost etc then...
