We just got back yesterday rode 3 days boulder and frisbee . Snow was decent rode untouched everyday . Little chilly but nice to have blue skies for once
To find engine hours break in period just push centre button on right side then touch the vehicle information tab on bottom of screen then this break in screen will come up
I’m in the same boat . Took someone’s slash snow check and the mid bars are too high . Pretty sure you can buy the bars complete with grips etc from Polaris but be pricey. Not sure it if the stock grips can be removed without damaging the heating elements
I ran grippers many years on my 15 viper . Like others have said the newer winder ski is pretty much same ski width . I bought a set of sly dog power hounds last season and really like them
Wanted to see what the weight of my sled is bone stock full of fuel . It’s a na 165 slash full load . E start , 7s gauge and velocity shocks , 165 2.75 track . Came in at 545 lbs .
Then I swapped can out for a ggb trail can , anti gravity battery and I fabbed up a battery box out of some...
It’s a decent size but not as big as the doo bag that’s similar . I was going to go with the adventure low bag that’s wider but thought I better go with this narrow one so I can add a Gerry can down the road
If you search around You might find the cat a arms kits. I found one at central sled last season . Makes a huge difference and the raptor front coil overs work great . One of the boys put the elevate kit on his sidewinder this season with 174 and the thing lays over so much easier
Built my viper in 15, thing works awesome but took lots of cake to get it there. Boost it turbo kit, baker t-motion, 162 3" power claw, 36'' front end, raptor shocks up front, cleaned bars up with muster controls. Ran gripper skis from day 1 they work good but i switched to powder hounds this...
I have the same turbo kit and similar set up on my viper. I would get afr gauge if your going to take some race fuel out of the mix and make sure your running on the rich side. I just ran what Neil suggested for octane back in the day which was 50/50 for 10-12 lbs boost and straight race for 14...
You should notice some difference now. I haven't ran curves but ran grippers for 5 seasons. Grippers work well not aggressive on trail and decent flotation. I switched to sly dog powder hounds this season and really like the extra flotation
Where you have your skid mounted in drop brackets and tunnel will also effect ski pressure . If you haven’t tried skid in upper mount holes I would try it . Sled will sit flatter and helps take some weight off the front end . Crank your center shock spring preload up until skis feel light on the...
Little bit of maintenance and moderate boost they run forever . I sold my nytro back in 2013 with same km boosted since day one pretty much. Was gas and go 18 pounds boost with shim . I ran into the owner and it’s still running strong .
