Apparently polaris has a fix coming out this month. I would assume its the threaded sheave collar or a combination of these parts that carbon sled is offering
I luv the feel of the Polaris chassis and it’s lighter. I put about 1500 km on both a n/a 850 and my khaos boost and no issues except a couple sets of plugs . Don’t read into all the bullch!t they all can have there issues. The 7s to me is worth every penny . Easy to get a na without e-start...
Bunch of us had bikes for 5-6 seasons and still had sleds. Never had a bad day on the bikes always rode fresh snow every day . They have their place in tight trees and creeks etc go anywhere pretty much even on deep days. Never rode the alpine ever really . Pricey to build not hard to drop...
Put around 8000km on this thing only let me down once. Oil tank cracked at the boss/fitting at bottom of tank. Towed it out of Renshaw , jb welded the bottom of tank that night and broke into horsey creek next day. Was a good sled
I went through carbs , new oil pump and lines, coolant lines, new throttle cable, new water pump belt serviced clutches , installed correct handle bars, serviced chain case. Should be a good runner if we ever get snow around here.
I bought a 600xc last season that needed some work. We ripped around home on the old sleds while waiting for snow in the hills. The 600 worked so good I watched for a good 700 and picked this project up has 3500 miles . Carbs were off and in pieces , oil pump deleted , cables cut . Nothing too...
Fun little sleds ! I picked this one up 2 years ago $1300 has 2100 miles on it. Cleaned the carbs runs like a champ . Last season I put a set of gripper skis on it and a 136 track .
Your door must not have a good seal on it ? Ive rode all kinds of snow the past two seasons, handle bar deep champagne powder, heavy wet powder and i get just a small trace of snow in there the odd time
Kurt’s gear down kit is 2:37 ratio, stock is 2:27 . Not a huge ratio change but it helped and I got kit for half price so was no brainer . It helps spin that 3” heavier track up quicker
I’ve only ridden it in deep days this season and during break in the bog on exhaust side was bad if you weren’t careful. After break in mode it was non existent pretty much . I geared it down and put a lynx track on and it’s more responsive on bottom end and holds track speed climbing . Super...
I didn’t notice a lot of weight difference between my n/a 165 850 and boost 165 . The boost does feel more top heavy as it should with turbo placement . With diamond S can my boost was 525 lbs . My n/a was 535 lbs but had e-start . Not having the bottom end snap of the n/a engine does add to the...
Got home yesterday. Rode 6 days snow was awesome ! Had a couple downhill stucks the one day snow was insane. It sure changed from day to day with temps
What’s the problem Powder bogs or ? My 23 powder bogged when exhaust side was jammed in 3-4 feet of snow but after break in mode it seems to have stopped bogging . I just got back from a week in Revvy sled rips with a gear down kit and Linyx track
