Buy a membership at the local club that you usually ride at and if you travel elsewhere then buy a trail pass there, it's simple and you are supporting our system both financially and with numbers as well. Momma just keep doing what you do. I always look forward to your positive presence on here...
You and I have a very similar upbringing then LennyR. My early years reflect yours pretty closely. My opinions on how ridiculous this has gotten are also very similar to yours. Where we differ is that I know that there was approximately 150,000 kids taken and put into residential schools. Taking...
Never said any of what you posted rzrgade, nor do I think it was peaceful or enjoyable. What I did say was that for thousands of years they managed to live and look after this land quite well. That wasn't an accident or luck. For sure it must have been a hard life and every day would have been a...
LennyR there is something else in your post that I've heard a few times before with very little evidence to back up that point of view. The natives were here for thousands of years previous to the arrival of Europeans. They had a complex system of governance and family that had worked pretty...
Did you read before you posted? My opening line clearly states that I agree things are way out of hand on this issue. For sure something needs to be done, but I don't know how we get past this point without a lot of very tough decisions on both sides. In my post I pointed out some very clear and...
I agree that things have gotten way out of hand on this issue, but there is a couple of things in your post I'm not understanding. "incite racial tension and their idea of past discrimination", the residential schools weren't their idea and it sure as hell was discrimination. My mother was born...
Questioning something like this must be done. How much worse would it be if the people said absolutely nothing and just accepted the spoon fed crap? I don't think we will ever get the whole truth about this terrible day.
I read the article, but I think that Cat missed the boat for this year. The 174 has been out for years and is proven to be a very good track. For very little investment Cat could have had the 174 out on this model year and still been working on the 181 for a later date.
It would cost AC very little to include the 174 option for those who would like more length to get up on top during the deep pow days with a hundred extra pounds of 4 stroke. I find it somewhat irritating that both Poo and Doo offer the 174 and Cat still hasn't stepped up, WTH.
I believe the Transmountain is a far, far better option than Northern Gateway. Unfortunately this province is at the mercy of the lower mainland and I fear that they will cause so much sh@t that there is a chance of it not going through.
Joholio, what makes this one different is that none of the pipelines you are trying to compare the Northern Gateway to will have massive tankers trying to navigate extremely treacherous waters with thousands of barrels of bitumen on board.
Should have read a little further, Tom answered this...
Rancheria was the first business sold to civilians (my Grandparents) when the army pulled out after construction was completed on the highway. They sold it to a lady named Bev. Don't know if she still has it or not. We always stop and check it out whenever we are up there. Grandparents had a...
